Admissions
Admission to Holy Trinity Catholic School is based on class capacity and availability of resources as well as the applicant’s developmental, scholastic, and behavioral qualifications. The administration has final authority over all admission decisions.
To be considered, the following must be submitted for each child to be considered “complete” and ready for review.
- A completed application
- Specified supporting documents
- A $200 non-refundable application fee
Applications do not guarantee admission.
A student applying to Holy Trinity Catholic School will be given an academic entrance exam.
- PreK students are evaluated from a teacher referral form, other documentation, and may be observed or asked to shadow.
- Kindergarten students take part in an assessment that evaluates their gross motor, fine motor, language capability, ability to take direction, and conceptual skills.
- Students in grades 1-6 are screened in reading and math and complete a writing sample. They will also meet with a member of our Administrative Team for a brief interview.

The tuition and fees for the 2026-2027 school year for grades K-8 are listed below.

| Parishioner families with 2 children: | $16,365 |
| Parishioner families with 3 or more children: | $21,355 |
| Non-parishioner (per child): | $14,630 |
| Pre-K (set fee per child): | $9,745 |
Clifton Annual Tuition Rates
- All students pay the same rate regardless of parishioner status.
- Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $20,560.
Payment Options:
- Payment options are full payment with a 0.5% discount on tuition, semi-annual, monthly, or semi-monthly payment with no discount.

Free or Reduced Lunch
Holy Trinity families who are eligible can receive free or reduced lunch. Application must be filed with the Archdiocese of Louisville.

Financial Aid
Catholic Education Foundation Scholarship Assistance applications are made available to all families. No one is more aware of your financial situation than you. Families for whom tuition presents a hardship are encouraged to complete a Catholic Education Foundation Student Aid Form for the school year online, available at CEFLou.org.
It is imperative that applicants carefully read and follow the directions on the application, accurately completing all sections and returning all required attachments. Catholic Education Foundation awards will be made by voucher directly to the families.
At that time, applications will be evaluated for assistance granted by Holy Trinity Parish and applying families will be notified of those results. As always, the entire process is completely confidential.
Tour the Campus
Interested Family Tours
Interested Family Tours dates are usually the third Tuesday of the month between September and January and are held only at the St. Matthews Campus. They last from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.
At these tours, families will get an opportunity to speak with teachers and administrators. After speaking with and asking questions of these hosts, there is a guided tour of the school.

Personal Tours
Besides Interested Family Tours, Holy Trinity Catholic School also offers private tours.
On these tours, a representative of the administration or office staff will give you and your family a personal tour of the school and answer any questions that you may have.
These tours can be scheduled at any time of the year.
