I have been teaching in the classroom since 2015 and have been working in education for nearly 25 years. I first became interested in STEM when I started noticing connections to science, math and engineering in my college studies of Art. My goal as a teacher is to spark students’ engagement and to offer them a hands-on connection and excitement for learning by finding personal connections between the curriculum and their personal interests. Outside of the classroom I enjoy reading, and making art, as well as traveling, hiking and spending time outdoors with my husband and our teenage daughter.
