Ms. Given is originally from Woodford County, Kentucky. She has presented at the Ohio Catholic Educator Association Conference, three times at the Kentucky Art Educators Association State Conference, and thirteen times at the National Art Education Association Conference. She has also been on the Visual Art Curriculum writing committee for the Archdiocese of Louisville three times. In her spare time Ms. Given enjoys crocheting, quilting and spending time with her family. She has one cat named Bucky who loves taking naps while she is reading, crocheting or just watching TV.
